Services for children should be individualized and available to families early on as part of a thriving community care system. Services and supports for families must be based in the communities and neighborhoods in which families live. Must value natural leadership and natural support systems in supporting families. Family centered, strength based practice is best used in family support services. To assure that children who are known to child protective services will be less likely to be re-abused and or re-neglected.
